What is the deadline for applications?
We are recruiting for Summer 2012 and will be accepting applications until 16th December 2011.
Where are you recruiting in the UK?
We are hiring around 25 new patent examiners to start in our office in Newport, South Wales.
Who do you typically look for?
We are looking for Mathematicians, Scientists and Engineers with highly developed analytical and critical skills and the communication skills necessary to express complex technical and legal arguments along with strong oral communication skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
Do you have roles for non-Scientists/Mathematicians/Engineers?
At this time we are only looking to hire patent examiners, therefore only those with maths, science or engineering degrees will be considered at this time. Roles involving law, management or finance may become available in future and will be listed on http://www.ipo.gov.uk and http://jobs.civilservice.gov.uk.
